Summary | 0003934: Possibility to keep the original filename when dowloading a podcast
Description | Raised at http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=22444 David would like force MM to keep the original filename when dowloading a podcast. The default condition seems to be to rename the file with <album>-<title>. As an example the latest nature podcast has a filename of "nature-2007-11-08.mp3" but its title is "Nature Podcast: 8 November 2007" which is more difficult to sort. In order to not introduce a new options I would suggest to keep the original filename in case the Podcast mask is missing. i.e. Download Podcasts to: C:\Documents and Settings\spiker\Dokumenty\Hudba\Podcasts\ would force MM to keep the original filename But the default should remain as is: C:\Documents and Settings\spiker\Dokumenty\Hudba\Podcasts\<Artist>-<Title>

Why not to accept standard MM mask <filename>, i.e. in your case: C:\Documents and Settings\spiker\Dokumenty\Hudba\Podcasts\<filename> ? |

That is true, the <filename> mask should be used for this. Fixed in build 1104. Note: We could also add the mask browser button [>>] like on the others option sheets. |
