| Description | It seems that a large number of users find the 'auto-hide' feature annoying, and would rather see all tracks in AA+Details view. Since MM 3.0 is already string frozen, could we: -Allow users who want auto-hide to configure it via the ini file In 3.01 we can add an option so that this is configurable (and perhaps even change the default). | ||||

Assigning to Petr to add a new option that would change this behaviour. As Rusty suggested, it will be accessible from the ini file only for now, but we will probably add it to Options dialog in MM 3.01. |

Added variable into INI file : [System] ExpandAlbumsByDefault=1 Will be in 1107. |

Verified 1108. Works perfectly. Re-opening as 'urgent' for future version of MM to make this configurable in the UI. |

I think ideally users would be able to configure MM to "Show all tracks" or to specify how many tracks should show per album via somewhere in the options, ie: Album art with details view: [ ] Expand albums (show all tracks) [x] Condense albums to [___] tracks |

I'd suggest some small tweaks: 1) These configs can be shortened to: [x] Album Art + Details View: Condense albums to _7_ tracks [x] Album Art View: Enable mirror effect 2) Move these configs to the Appearance tab, as the first 2 options (that way we get rid of an extra entry). 3) Add the following hint: Re. Album Art + Details option: ---> If enabled, will display a subset of tracks on the Album so that more Albums can be seen. |
