| Description | There are a couple of inconsistencies that have been brought up in the forum, though I'm not really certain that we should make a change or not: Year: Used in Track browser columns & nodes Date: Used in Track Properties and Column headers I think that this is fine, since the track browser and column nodes would be kind of useless if they grouped by Date. The only reasonable alternative might be to label the fields as 'date' but only use the year portion of the date. With respect to Original Year/Original date, we should just make them consistent. | ||||

ok, so in the tracks properties I changed 'Original Year' -> 'Original Date' in build 1107. Note: I could not change this also in its hovering hint "Year of recording of the original version of this track" -> "Date of recording of the original version of this track" because we do not have such a string translated, also in case of 'Date' field there is hint "Year this track was recorded" instead of "Date this track was recorded", but I don't consider this as a critical issue. |
