Summary | 0004302: Ripping CD / converting tracks: When desktop is selected as destination -> fields turn to gibberish
Description | As reported here: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=24958 When I try to rip a CD (rip from any menu or context menu, including the CD device), a rip menu is brought up. I change it to the Desktop. Instead of the desktop, the "Tracks to be ripped" show a weird conglomeration composed of: 1. The path to the Desktop 2. A non-ascii character or two 3. The relative path to the last track I'd selected in the track listing earlier 4. Some data that looks like SQL (eg. "WHEN Medias.DriveType = 2 THEN 'Other removeable media' WHEN"...) 5. Finally, the name of the target mp3 files. What's going on here? Looks like there is some memory/array/pointer management problem going on here, yes? In any case, it *appears* this only happens when one selects the Desktop as the destination for the ripped tracks. Also, if I try to create a folder under Desktop with MM, it doesn't create it. Some problem dealing with the Desktop folder, then? I know that's a "special" windows folders, so I could see issues with that. Just thought I'd report this bug!
