Summary | 0004367: Increasing Playcount behaviour - MM2 versus MM3
Description | This is a reaction on some threads like this http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=25904 In MM2, a song will be counted as played, as long as you listen to (any) 1/3 of it, or pause the song for the same amount of time. In MM3, a song will be counted as played everytime the end of the played song is reached (and you listened at least 1 minute of the song or the song is shorter than 3 minutes). This behaviour (need to reach the end) is preferable in MM3 because of podcasts and audiobooks which need to be listened whole to be considered as played. But there are some users prefering the old MM2 behaviour. The reason for changing the behaviour in MM3 was mainly because of podcasts and audiobooks so I have a solution: What about to enable MM3 behaviour only for bookmarkable tracks (based on filter settings) and for the others enable the old one MM2 behaviour.
