As far as I remember, we agreed to do so, because otherwise it would involve reading full lyrics from DB for each track, which could be time consuming. That said, do we have these details documented anywhere? Feel free to discuss with Rusty... |

Yes, as we concluded in the 0000347, we are searching for visibled fields/columns only and we don't search for Lyrics, Comment in case of searching for 'Current Selection'. Rusty, Peke, is this documented somewhere? |

I don't believe it's documented in the online help, but I think that the implementation might be a bit 'off'. i.e. the disabling of search for lyrics/comments was intended for performance reasons, so shouldn't this be consistent whether user searches 'current selection' or 'entire library'? |
