| Description | Currently the AC3 Decoder (which??) can cause serious problems with DirectShow MP3 playback (in SongDB and other apps). Ideally, the app should detect the codec, warn the user of the potential problems, and give the user the option of disabling it. | ||||

I haven't actually tested this because it seems that there are multiple AC3 codecs, and some of them have problems with a variety of software. I don't plan on spending time on this until we receive more info about any such problems. |
