Summary | 0004529: f_aac_codec: Non-admin users cannot use this AAC add-on
Description | Originally raised in 4497: -I install MM + plugin as Admin. -Then switch to 'user' and run MM. -When I try to encode, I'm able to change the m4a encoder settings, but I get an error that the 30 day trial has expired...even after installing the unlimited version and/or re-installing the trial. The problem is that the install information is stored in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MediaMonkey... so they need a per-user installation, but non-admin user usually has no permission to install. Based on discussin with Jiri and Rusty we should use HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE so that another non-admin users could use this add-on around the computer.
