Summary | 0004830: History should remember track selection
Description | When user will use back/forward in history, only prev/next main tree node is selected and could be nice to have prev/next tracks selections as well. So user will can use history for switching between specified tracks, instead of only specified main tree nodes. This issue was introduced in 4486.

suggest behavior be changed to remember only last used track per node, so users do not have to click back through many different track selections to return to a previous node. or at least make track history optional |

Assigning to Rusty for review. Any suggestions appreciated. |

Yes--the current behaviour (in which the 'back'/'forward' buttons retain a history of individual tracks within a node) is unexpected. e.g. -Click an Artist A -Click another Artist B -Click 3 different tracks within Artist B -Press 'Back' -->MM currently switches to the second Track by Artist B, but the user would expect that MM would switch back to Artist A. This expectation is based on similar interactions in Firefox, Explorer, or Windows Explorer. |
