Maybe not related but I noticed that some drives unlock faster speed settings only when empty disk is inserted in drive. |

I reopened it based on the original ticket: http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/staff/index.php?_m=tickets&_a=viewticket&ticketid=3669&offset=10 The drive return only list including the 4x speed despite the fact that max speed was detected correctly. I added (build 1219) also the max speed to the list, so the is 4x and 48x available, but it seems that both iTunes and Nero adds more speeds, i.e. Nero speed list = [48, 40, 32, 24, 20, 16, 8, 4], iTunes speed list = [24, 20, 16, 12, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1]. So we should also add some more speeds bellow the max speed in case that device returns only one speed. |
