Summary | 0005409: Syncing ALAC (Apple lossless) to an iPod/iPhone is broken (regression)
Description | As reported here: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=38179&p=196682#p196682 Syncing ALAC (within an mp4 container) to an iPod/iPhone is broken. In my case the file plays only for 40 seconds on the iPod/iPhone and then plays from start again, the user experienced another problem after 90 seconds of playback (I guess it is somehow related to song length) Steps to reproduce: 1. Download dBpoweramp 2. Convert an file larger than 1 minute to Apple Lossless 3. Sync the file by using MM 3.1 (I tested MM 3.1.1228) 4. Play the file on iPod/iPhone Note that the file plays fine in MM so it is an issue with synchronization. Also sync by using iTunes works fine. The user indicated that this is a regression (works fine in 3.0.7.1191 )

Assigned to me in order to find the regression. So far I know it works in 3.0.7.1191 and doesn't work in 3.1.0.1192 (11/11/2008) |
