| Description | Users occasionally complain that despite the fact they have only several tracks selected on the auto-sync list it can take several minutes until the synchronization finishes. Progress bar just shows: "Synchronizing ... (Preparing list of tracks)" while MM seems to read whole device content in order to sync rating and playcounts information from device back to PC. I guess that 1. MM should do this just for the songs on the auto-sync list and not for any other 2. Progress bar should indicate what it is really doing, i.e. instead of "Preparing list of tracks" there should be something like "Synchronizing tracks info from device back to PC" 3. There should be an option to disable sync of rating and playcounts from device to PC. This way user could speed up synchronization for large devices that contains thousands of tracks. | ||||
