Summary | 0005626: Consistency issue re wording "tracks" versus "files"
Description | Device Profile -> Playlists tree -> item tooltips, tracks are called "tracks" when there are none and "files" when there are some. How about consistently calling them "tracks"? And likewise in the stats text at the tab bottom. And likewise on the Music tab (EDIT: both in tree tooltips and stats test at bottom) And likewise in the stats text at the DIALOG bottom. => We should review whether to call them "tracks" or "files"?

This has been resolved in MM 4.0. In most cases, items are referred to as 'Files' except when they are audio files in which case 'tracks' may be used. |

Sounds like that sometimes gives an inconsistency that's thre reverse of the above. I think consistency would be better. And that given (presumably) "files" can now contain non-tracks, that consistent term will have to be "files". |
