Summary | 0005873: Some WAV files have a loud Pop at the end after tag edits
Description | The user reports that after tagging WAV files with MM, there is an audible "pop" at the end of each track. I've uploaded some sample tracks that he sent me before editing with MM and after, you can download them from: http://www.filedropper.com/02_4

Fixed in build 1300. Merged in build 1257. The problem was caused by "_PMX" chunk (added by some Adobe program) in the source wav file, f_wave plugin didn't support chunks with "_" in its name and considered it to be part of incorrectly sized sound stream data. |
|
Will a track with this problem be fixed after editing it with this new build? |
|
Unfortunately not, the metadata (following _PMX) became the final part of the data stream. The "pop" can be removed in any sound editing software, just by cutting approx. the last 1ms of the sound stream. |
