Summary | 0006215: Support for auto-proxy configuration via PAC script files
Description | Based on one request we should add auto-proxy configuration via PAC script files see: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/271361 and http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa384240(VS.85).aspx This is a feature of Internet Explorer. Not sure how important it is. It is based one one request: http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/staff/index.php?_m=tickets&_a=viewticket&ticketid=7277# Or we should at least add a KB artictle in which we should describe that user can find the proxy settings and info within the PAC script file. He can take the info from the PAC and put it into MM options.

Implementation details are described here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa384240(VS.85).aspx and originally here: http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=3360#bugnotes specifically bug note 0018615 |

I'm not sure that it makes sense to support PAC scripts if they're IE-specific. i.e. I prefer a KB article (especially considering the lack of many customer problems with this particular issue). |

Another request here: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=63384#p325395 and here: http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/staff/index.php?_m=tickets&_a=viewticket&ticketid=15128 |

I agree with Rusty, resolving as ToDoc. |
