Summary | 0006220: iPod Nano: Episode description isn't shown in the iPod after sync
Description | Example Feed: http://sports.espn.go.com/espnradio/podcast/feeds/itunes/podCast?id=2864045 Date: 12/8/2009 Comment (Episode Description): "Bill Simmons and Cousin Sal break down Week 14 in the NFL, guess the lines and talk with special guests Dicky Barrett and Super Dave Osborne." When I play the file on the iPod after syncing with iTunes, and I click the center button on the iPod 3 times, it comes up with the episode description above. However, when I play the file on the iPod after syncing with MediaMonkey, if I click the center button three times to get to the description, all that shows up is "The B.S. Report: 12/8, 12/08/09, 52:20" and not the episode description shown above. It is the same issue with all other podcasts I have. Note that it is not reproducible on iPhone/iPod touch models. Looking to iTunes I see that itunes writes the description to [Video -> Description] field and [Info -> Comment] and [Lyrics] fields are empty. MediaMonkey writes it to the [Info -> Comment] field. So there is missing the [Video -> Description] field im MediaMonkey.

This looks like MMW needs to Fill [Video -> Description] with info from [Info -> Comment] in case Video File is synched. Or Write both with same info. |

Fixed in 4.1.1.1693 (tested on iPod Nano 6G) |

No regressions on Touch |
