Summary | 0006232: CD metadata doesn't persist unless running as admin
Description | Because MM saves CD information to cdplayer.ini, if the user is not running mm as admin, then CD Lookups or CD edits fail to save to cdplayer.ini and the lookup occurs over and over. A workaround is described at http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/staff/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=editquestion&kbarticleid=137 , however, this needs to be fixed. afaik, the use of cdplayer.ini has been deprecated, so it may be time to use a different solution.

I added another workaround: 3) Add the CD into library (Right-click and select 'Add/Rescan tracks to library') and CD info will be stored in your database http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=137 |

A safe fix for MM 3.2 would be to check whether user is admin, and if is not then create own CDPlayer.ini in the MediaMonkey app data folder. |

Merged to build 1295. |
