Summary | 0006449: MTP Plugin uses .pla playlist files which aren't recognized by some devices
Description | The MTP plugin currently chooses .pla files for syncing playlists, and doesn't give the user the ability to switch to a format that their device supports. Device sync profiles for MTP should allow for .m3u playlists to be synced.
Steps To Reproduce | Two examples at: http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/staff/index.php?_m=tickets&_a=viewticket&ticketid=9545 http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=51929

This surely isn't true for all devices, every MTP device I've ever used always had .m3u playlists generated by MM. |
|
I think that this was actually fixed by the design changes in 4.0 device handling, at least for the mentioned Droid it should work fine. If not, we'd have to reopen for particular devices with their device profiles generated. |
