Summary | 0006904: Cannot play M4V files after installing codec pack
Description | After installing the trial codec pack, MM was unable to play an .m4v file downloaded from How Stuff Works - The Stuff of Genius podcast (downloaded via iTunes). Note that MM 'thought' that it could play the file (i.e. it didn't try to download a codec to play it). Another strange thing is that several minutes after trying to play the file, an AVI Chunk Viewer window opened up from inside of MM (see attached)!! File uploaded to ftp.

M4V playback fixed in build 1333 (the extension was missing in video plugin) "Avi chunk viewer" dialog removed from AviSplitter filter, fixed in codec pack 1.02. It was called when avi was corrupted or when shift key was pressed during loading AVI file, e.g. when scanning for thumbs. |

Reminder sent to: rusty Shouldn't this be in addons Video codec Plugin? |
