Summary | 0006962: Art View jumps around
Description | When navigating content in the AA View, it seems to jump around a lot. There are at least 2 sets of steps that can trigger this behavior consistently: 1) clicking on an image after scrolling the previous selection off the screen 2) playing radio stations that MM has trouble playing See attached screencast: http://www.screencast.com/users/rustymonkey/folders/Jing/media/327f4f22-e03e-4401-abd3-83d71e5eed02

Tested 1334--this issue is still happening, though it may be triggered by another issue. It seems that if a CD is in the drive, the AA view jumps around because the contents of the CD appear as blank images, and every few seconds, more blank images are added. Whenever more blank images are added, the Tracklist position changes, jumping to the last track in the list. Another example of this happening is if the user is in the Video node (top of the list), switches to podcast node, then switches back to Video node -->The Tracklist shows to top of the list, and then quickly scrolls down halfway through the tracklist. Tested in the default view for Videos. |

I've uploaded a screencast to: http://www.screencast.com/users/rustymonkey/folders/Jing/media/ea3d0038-0705-42f8-8c05-b19ff82c7fd1 It clearly shows have blank representations of Albums that are associated with an inserted CD appear at regular intervals in the AA node, causing the screen to jump. Note: I wonder if this is somehow caused by the same issue that caused 0006474 . In that case, the CD drivers were also doing something at regular intervals that caused changes to the metadata. Edit: Debug log attached, with description in first few lines of the file. |
