I don't have PS3, I have only Xbox 360 to test, waiting for the debug log from Anubis. |
Ludek - debug log attached. I have a PS3 to test with. If you need to to try anything else, please let me know. |
Great to know! Thanks, I guess you should add it here: http://www.jirihajek.net/MMwiki/index.php/Test_Devices I attached UPnP.dll with enhanced logging, it is on our FTP (/forSteve/UPnP.dll) Please generate new debug log using that DLL (just by replacing in MM install dir) Note: That part of log when PS3 tries to browse MM server should be enough |
Yes, it's new from the holidays. I don't have ability to edit that wiki but maybe Rusty can add it in. Anyway, uploaded new log. |
Thanks Steve, I added it to the WiKi, I see a problem in the log and I compiled new UPnP.dll and uploaded. Please try with that DLL and if it still doesn't work then generate log again, thanks! |
Now there is no error when I try to connect, but the PS3 does not see any tracks after connecting. |
Stephen, the third try (DLL re-uploaded), hopefully it is going to work now. BTW. In the last log there are some items returned, did you see some directories when browsing the server? |
Ludek - No, the PS3 only says "There are no tracks" when I try to browse MM. New log uploaded. (still with 1343 and updated upnp.dll) |
Thanks Steve - The next try requires also some changes in MediaMonkey.exe, so replace both UPnP.dll and MediaMonkey.exe (both uploaded) and don't forget to replace also UPnP.dll (it is recompiled). Thanks! |
Ludek, The .exe you sent isn't working, says: "The program can't start because FastMM_FullDebugMode.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." |
Sorry, FastMM_FullDebugMode.dll is uploaded too |
Unfortunately now the original error is back. |
OK, I overlooked something, please try again with new MM.exe and new UPnP.dll, thanks. |
Ludek, your latest changes seem to have worked, I was able to browse the server and play back tracks! The only thing that did not work was auto-conversion. When I tried to play a track I knew to be FLAC over the PS3, it failed saying "Data type not supported". |
Thank you, Stephen. I commited the changes so that it works in 1345. Please, re-generate the log so that I could have a clue why the auto-conversion doesn't work. |
Ludek, Log is uploaded. I noticed that the file is correctly generated by MM (I was able to play the file generated in the temp folder with MPC) but somehow the ps3 does not recognize it. |
Thanks Steve, I uploaded two files, at first try MM1.EXE (just run instead of MediaMonkey.exe from the same folder) and then if MM1.EXE doesn't solve the problem try MM2.EXE |
Ludek - MM2.exe seems to fix the problem. I have logs of both if you want to see them. |
Thanks Steve, fixed in 1346. |
