Summary | 0007200: Overuse of Glass effect in MM4
Description | As pointed out at: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=54591 , MM4 tends to overuse the glass effect in a manner that makes it distracting and contrary to UI guidelines (see: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa974173.aspx ). Below is a list of dialogs in which completely violate the guidelines: 1) Open URL or File 2) Download file 3) Maintain library 4) Clear database 5) Add OPML directory 6) Sleep 7) All Advanced tag management dialogs 8) About MediaMonkey 9) There may be others e.g. Warning & Error dialogs Other dialogs that have lesser violations (placing OK/Cancel/other buttons at the bottom in a transparent area) include. These dialogs should render more similarly to the Search dialog: 10) Options Panel (buttons at bottom should preferably not be on a transparent background) 11) Properties dialog 12) Subscribe to new podcast 13) Auto-tag from filename 14) Auto-organize 15) Extensions dialog
