Summary | 0007319: WASAPI plugin outputs static when DFX plugin is enabled
Description | The workaround is to enable Exclusive mode, however, this shouldn't be necessary. Assigning to Jiri to verify whether this is a bug in WASAPI plugin or DFX.

This is generally a problem of DSP plug-ins that don't support all possible Channels, Samplerate and Bit-depth combinations. The only possible solution would be to configure for each DSP which kind of formats it supports and when such a DSP is enabled and incompatible format is being played, it would be converted for this DSP plug-in. However, we'll need to review whether there's even need for such a complex solution. |
|
Note: this same issue applies to all DSP plugins e.g. Take it easy: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=55691 We'll need to update the website to indicate incompatibility with WASAPI output plugin. |

As KB Updated lowering priority and set for 4.1 for your investigation Jiri. |
|
There's not much to investigate, as this depends on individual DSP plug-ins. |
