I've made a mockup showing how MM could benefit of these features. First image shows original MM4 layout using Pulse skin, with mirror effect enabled. Notice how cluttered is this view. Second image shows the following tweaks: - Thumbnails have 120x120px (when square) instead of 140x140. This leads to more blank space between them. - Album thumbnails have a subtle dropshadow (highly blurred), which enhances view of those albums with colors similar to MM background. - There's no underline in Artist and Album names. - Artist name is lighter than Album name. - Mirror effect is disabled. - Album name could use normal font instead of bold, but I didn't implemented this in this mockup. All these small tweaks, when summed up, cause the overall aspect of the Album Cover view to be much more cleaner, streamlined. |
