Summary | 0007528: Add rescan dialog configuration - circular logic
Description | It's possible to get an infinite number of Add/rescan dialogs to appear because the dialog contains a link to the Options dialog from which it can be re-opened. e.g. - Add/Rescan Tracks - click the Options button - click on the File Monitor --> a second instance of Add/Rescan Tracks opens again. If one instance of the dialog is open, any subsequent attempts to open it should re-open the existing dialog.

Since these dialogs a modal, it isn't possible to get the existing dialog on top. I'd rather suggest to remove the 'File Monitor' button in case the Options dialog is shown this way. Or, maybe the 'File Monitor' button could be removed altogether , it doesn't seem to be really necessary in Options? |
|
I'd go with your initial suggestion to not show the 'File Monitor' button in that scenario. I think that most existing users would expect to find the file monitor in the options dialog. |
