As discussed over IM, this podcast will normally subscribe properly, without a problem, on a clean install. The problem with the podcast occurs only when the user first tries to subscribe to a 'bad podcast' (such as the one described in 0007534). Upon further investigation, though, it seems that the failures are not related to that specific 'bad podcast' but rather to entering any incorrect data into the podcast subscription dialog prior to subscribing to a 'good podcast'. e.g. 1 Clean install and subscribe to the podcast above -->works as expected 2 Unsubscribe to the podcast and remove episodes 3 Subscribe to 'satnoeusthaoehtu' and press cancel 4 Subscribe to the podcast above -->Error dialog Basically, it seems as if there's a problem with our error dialog that makes it seem as if podcasts are having problems even when they're not.
