Summary | 0007679: My Computer Node: Columns order and columns manage do not work
Description | 1. Manage Columns do not affect actual showing and in some cases unusable. 2. Manage Columns Show Entire Library instead of My Computer

re 2. All non-collection nodes are using settings from Entire Library collection (except playlists) |
|
re 2. It would be logically that My computer node should have own due the its nature and that Path and Filename some users prefer to be on the beginning and is confusing that it states Entire Library. |
|
I retested with 1367 and things looks worse Steps: 1. Right click on track in Now playing -> Find More From Same -> Folder Computer 2. Right click on Columns header -> Manage Columns 3. Change Order of columns (in my case I moved Title and Filename as first Columns) -> OK 4. Tree Icon will change (???) and it will show columns how I just set up 5. but as soon as I click on any other Folder in My computer Tree it gets reverted to Old Setting 6. If I click back on same folder (one with changed Icon) it do not sort like I set previously I noticed that if folder have subfolders and I do Choose columns on all subfolders Mm will Actually save that sort as Default Sort. Additionally I used All tree nodes to Show all tracks in folder and subfolders. |

I can confirm the issue described by Peke. Note that there is a similar issue in Device nodes. |

Reopenning, since there's a lot of weirdness here: 1. If I go to My Computer node 1a. Reordering/changing visibility of columns doesn't persist when switching to another folder. 1b. 'Choose columns' header right-click menu item shows Columns configuration that's completely different from what's actually shown in the header. E.g. Title is shown as the first column here, even though in reality it's shown a the 5th one. 2. Columns in device nodes don't persist at all, e.g. in iPhone\Music\Artist, any changes are lost. Might be fixed in cooperation with Ludek. |
