Summary | 0007701: Custom toolbar creation bugs
Description | 1) New toolbars should be enabled by default, edited toolbars should maintain state enabled/disabled state from before editing 2) Buttons should be available even when already used, user might find it useful to have same button in different toolbars in different places 3) Toolbar creation has bugs, see steps to reproduce
Steps To Reproduce | 1.) Whenever I click OK in Toolbar Configuration Menu all custom toolbars (including newly added ones) disappear. To be shown, they have to be ticked in context menu again. 2.) A first custom toolbar named "1" is added and placed to the right of the original "context" Toolbar. ...fine 3.) A second custom toolbar named "2" is added. It takes the place of "1" to the right of the original "context" Toolbar. "1" automatically moves to the left of "context" toolbar. 4.) A third custom toolbar named "3" is added. It finds its place to the very left, moving all others a bit to the right. ...fine but "1" is automatically renamed to "2" so I get twice a "2" 5) creating a fourth woul rename the initial "1" to "3" and so on. Opening the configuration Menu a few times leads to several toolbars named "4" and one named "3" without having renamed them manually. 6.) Some of the bars would loose their position after having moved them manually. some wouldn't. Coldn't figure out how that worked. 1) Create toolbar named 1 2) OK 3) No toolbar 1 exists as no icon was added 4) Create toolbar named 1 5) Add button 6) Ok 7) Enable toolbar 1 8) Create toolbar named 2 9) Add button 10) OK 11) Toolbar 1 disappears 12) Right click on Toolbars shows me Toolbar 1 enabled and Toolbar 1 & 2 disabled (Yes I now have 2 Toolbar 1)

Fixed in 1369 |
This seems fixed in 1369, but: 1) Toolbar 1 created with Find more from same > Actor button and toolbar get's enabled in Media Tree 2) Toolbar 2 created with Edit > Change Album Artist button and toolbar get's created in front of main menu. I think all toolbars should be enabled in the same location regardless of button(s) added. 3) The Change Album Artist button doesn't show at all. |
I think it's correct. re dock for new toolbars: when you'll create a toolbar with same name as you had in history (have a record in registry), then it uses same dock as it was before. re Change Album Artist action: i've changed it a little, but the problem was that some actions are visible just for specified Media Tree nodes. |
1&2) You're right redoing the same steps with different named toolbars adds them to the same position (new row) 3) I think user added buttons shouldn't be context sensitive to whether they're show, but instead should show disabled if not working for the node/files selected 4) Find more from same Actor and Producer are missing icon in Toolbar Configuration window and Toolbars (see screenshot) |
3&4 fixed in 1370 |
3) Fixed in 1371 4) Fixed in Toolbar config, but on toolbar it shows Actor text instead of icon. |
3) Not fixed, on restart the context sensitive icons no longer show |
Fixed in 1374 |
3) Fixed in 1374 4) Still shows Actor in toolbar instead of image. |
Fixed in 1375 (also fixed Producer) |
