Summary | 0007926: Conversion failure: drm error dialog (even no DRM exists)
Description | Sometimes MM show error dialog after converting number of WMA files to MP3 with error that some files can't be converted as they are not being read due the DRM. Files Are plain WMA files created with Sound Recorder. NOTE file are converted correctly even dialog is shown. I have not noticed that it on other formats.
Additional Information | I have noticed a similar/same issue even for converting certain MP3 files with the Level Track Volume option enabled (the bug does not occur if this option is disabled). Sample file is posted to ftp (and p.s. I apologize in advance for assaulting your ears with Samantha Fox ;-) ).

I'd need more info, a debug log might help. Also a test with only 1 CPU allowed for conversion could help. Btw, from the description I'm not sure: is it only a conversion of any format to MP3 with Level Track Volume option enabled which causes the problem? Or any other scenario as well? |

Retested in 1394 to ensure results. It looks that problem is not with WMA not CPU # used. I uploaded small MPG Video file recorded with my cam and WMA is recorded in Windows sound recorder. Settings are in attached Picture. Destination folder is c:\Users\<username>\Desktop\MM Bugs\<Title> - <Artist> Clicking on IGNORE File gets converted. EDIT: I confirm that same thing happen with Rusty MP3 example. |
