Summary | 0008016: Up/Down buttons in the Collection Options should have auto-repeat
Description | It is really boring to click 50 times on the Up button if some column is on the bottom of the list of columns and you want it to be at the top. It would be much better if we could just click on the Up button once and release it when the column comes to the wanted place in the list, i.e. Up/Down buttons should behave same as arrow buttons of the Spin control. Maybe this should be implemented with all Up/Down buttons on other places as well, but the Collection Options / Column list is the most problematic since it has the most items.

I think that a d&d implementation for the Collections ordering would be the easiest and most useful solution. |

What stops you to implement both? Personally, I don't think d&d is easier and cannot see how it could be more useful solution. I think that d&d is too inert way to move some item in the list, especially if you want to move an item to some place in the list that is not currently visible, which often require up/down scrolling and doing d&d in several iterations. |
