Summary | 0008180: Changing <Album> name unchecks the Album in the AutoSync list
Description | Upon editing the the Album field for an audiobook that had been checked in the Sync list, then upon re-entering the sync list, the album becomes deselected! Even stranger: upon editing the Album field back to what it was originally, the entry on the Auto-sync list gets selected again! I tested this for regular Music as well, and for the Artist field, so I expect it occurs with any field.

I cannot reproduce this issue and I also don't see a reason for such a behaviour as albums are stored based on its ID (not based on name). How exactly you edited the album field, could you make a small video demonstrating this issue? |

Thanks. I can reproduce this with the Artist, but not with an Album, because renaming an artist always changes also the artist ID in the database, but album and genre ID is changed only when the genre name already exists (is merged). Note that this isn't a regression, this bug has always existed (also in MM3 and older versions). |
