The problem reproduced - occures with the given MKV file in Win7, it plays ok in WinXP. Removing subtitle filter - VSFilter.dll - from Plugins/DXFilters folder solves the problem, will look into it, why is it happening. |

Resolving. The problem is not in MM, but somewhere in the file and in MS WMV decoder used in Win7. The possible solution for the user is to remux the file (e.g. using last version of MKVToolnix utility, just add file - choose output file and start muxing), it will fix the file and it will be playable by MM4 then too. The problem is not in the subtitle filter, the same behaviour occures for nearly any transformation filter inserted between MS WMV decoder and renderer I've tried. |
