Summary | 0008511: Portable mode: File access problems
Description | I have got several logs where user installed MM in portable mode into C:\Program Files\MediaMonkey\ but doesn't have enough rights to run MediaMonkey in such a location (typically standard user in Windows 7 enviroment). MediaMonkey then fails to update C:\Program Files\MediaMonkey\Portable\MediaMonkey.registry as expected. We should prevent from such a situations and somehow inform the user that he doesn't have enough rigths to run MM in Portable mode in the corresponding location. I am just afraid that localization is closed and this would need to introduce a new strings, setting target to MM 4.1. Another problem is that we cannot guess beforehand whether MM will have enough rights post install. It depends on several things, e.g. from which user account it is running etc.
