Description | By default there isn't any visualization of music that's playing, although there is a space for it in WinAmp skins. | ||||

Fixed in build 700. - There are two VU meters (for left and right channels) now. It isn't exactly as WinAmp does the analyzation, but the main purpose of showing something during the playback is satisfied this way. - It should work well with any number of channels and 8, 16, 24 or 32 bits per sample of the source audio signal (generated by the input plug-in). - Should require as little resources as possible - implemented in assembler. |

This is working well, but it's not working when the player is minimized (i.e. when the player is minimized, the skin has an empty square with nothing in it). Is it possible to have the volume display work in that area as well? |
|
Yes, that's possible, however I think we can leave priority to 'Normal' and fix it whenever there is time for it, because it doesn't seem to be really urgent. |

The volume meter has existed for awhile in MM. The specrograph is being tracked in another bug. |
