Raising priority as this seems to be a frequent request and implementation shouldn't be hard. |
|
Fixed in build 1600. |
|
Re-opened in order to add option "Automatic" to the dropdown that would behave same as in MM 4.0 to prevent some problems in multihomed enviroments. |

This isn't working for me. I setup 2 NICs (NIC 1 = cable, NIC 2 = wifi) on 2 different networks with 2 Media Servers running, 1 on each NIC (manually assigned). What I saw: 1) Same MMW reports both servers running on assigned NICs under Tools > Options > Media Servers 2) Same MMW reports both servers running on NIC 2 in Media Tree > Media Servers > Properties 3) Clients on network of NIC 1 see both servers while clients on NIC 2 see nothing Debug log on FTP. |

Could you write down IP addresses and subnet masks of both the network adapters and both the servers? The info about the adapters can be found by putting 'ipconfig /all' to the command line. For each adapter write IPv4 address, Subnet Mask For each server write down manually configured IP' Are you able to see e.g. WMP server (running on the same computer as MMW) by the clients on NIC 2 ? |

I guess this has been already resolved ? If not, then re-open with relevant info and debug log |
