Summary | 0000867: Integration problems with Moodlogic
Description | It seems that a problem was introduced in 2.1 causing playback problems when the playback is initiated via Moodlogic. This, in and of itself, isn't a huge issue, however, the bug probably exists in other manifestations that we don't know about. btw, the bug occurs whether the moodlogic winamp plugin is used or not. Leaving assigned to Rusty for more testing--it's unclear whether there's really a bug in MM (it may be a moodlogic problem).

Fixed in build | |||||

As far as I can tell, it's a moodlogic problem--it doesn't seem to use the player that is configured (via associations) for a particular file type. |

Re-opening. Upon further investigation there are 2 problems: 1) MediaMonkey should be associated to .m3u files by default (in the installer) 2) Even when MM is properly associated, there is some problem with opening .m3u files from outside MM, when MM is already running (winamp or WMP don't have this problem). See: http://www.songs-db.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=3562#3562 |

1) Fixed in build 701. 2) I cannot reproduce this one, it works well for me, is there anything specific needed to do? |
|
re. 2) the problem is specific to Moodlogic (i.e. if the user double-clicks an .m3u file in Windows Explorer it'll play properly in MM, but if the user tries to play another track/tracks via Moodlogic, it simply doesn't register in MM, although this works fine with WMP or WA). |
