Summary0008750: Installer: Change default location for portable mode
DescriptionI saw several times that users try to install MM portable to default 'Program Files' folder and then obviously the permission issue appears. Because Win7 standard user doesn't have permissions to write into 'Program Files/MediaMonkey/Portable/' folder unless he is running MM as admin.

This can be solved by:
1. Adding KB article
2. Changing the default location in the MM installer
Additional Informationhttp://www.mediamonkey.com/support/staff/index.php?_m=tickets&_a=viewticket&ticketid=13962

This is the case of error reports like:
Cannot create file "C:\Program Files\MediaMonkey\Portable\MediaMonkey.registry". Access is denied.
TagsNo tags attached.
Fixed in build1460

I've documented this at: http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=151

But for MM 4.0.1, we can change the default path to /MediaMonkey (without specifying a drive). Note: we probably shouldn't _prevent_ installation to any particular path.

Fixed in build 1460.

Once user checks the '[x] Portable install' checkbox then the location changes to '\MediaMonkey' in order to force users to select the drive/location.

Once a user set a custom location it is somewhat annoying that the Portable Install checkbox wipes it out.

1) Enable Portable Install
2) Change Path
3) Disable Portable Install
4) Enable Portable Install

or just do steps 2 and 4 (top-down workflow)

Yes, it could a little bit annoying, but why would user clicks the Portable Install checkbox more than once?

Some programs will warn users if they select Program Files as install destination. It probably would be good to add similar warning to MediaMonkey as well.
