Summary0008884: Genre node shows Entire Library's Artist subnodes over UPnP
DescriptionBrowsing over UPnP the Movies > Genre node shows all Artists as subnodes instead of the Collections Artist. In my case just a list of movies would be best.

This seems to only affect custom Collections.

I cannot reproduce and also don't see a reason for this. Couldn't it be just a test error?

On 4.0.2 initial access in MediaMonkey itself didn't show Artist folders under Genre folder, but checking on Sony it did and now MediaMonkey itself does too.

I still cannot reproduce, but I can reproduce issue reported in ticket here:
http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/staff/index.php?_m=tickets&_a=viewticket&ticketid=15182

For example, looking at my movie collection (defined as extension=avi and path/filename contains c:\movies) I see a "/movies/1920s/1926" folder which contains no movies. I do not own any movies with a 1926 date. I do, however, own songs with 1926 date, and these 1926 songs appear to be causing the 1926 folder in the movies collection.

Note the collections appear as expected in MediaMonkey - this issue occurs only when viewing them via a DLNA client. Also note I've tried several DLNA clients and always see the same behavior.

This has not been fixed for me on 1464. Sony still shows all Artists under Movies > Genre.

However MediaMonkey no longer does this for its own server. I used to be able to show the same after accessing on Sony, but it seems that on 1464 this no longer happens.

Debug log of just the Sony access of the Movies > Genre node is in previous link in 1464 folder.

I guess it must a be a Sony "cache content" issue. There is no difference in providing content for Sony vs MediaMonkey client.

The issue also occurs on Samsung TV and also is reproducible with a newly created Collection on the Sony TV (I would assume this rules out caching). It also is reproducible on MediaMonkey itself and it isn't necessary to first try on another UPnP Client.

However the issue seems to be limited to a single genre which is Christmas. Other Genre's just display the movies and no sub-folders to the selected genre folder. New logs for all 3 scenarios described and DB available in 1464 folder.
