Probably there's no audio tracks in root of the CD so it will not show up as root node. |

I see your point for CDs that are not in MM library to avoid not needed scans but those that are in MM library and MM know that contain Tracks logically it should be shown.
Additionally I noticed that RIP Audio CD icon is Available even inserted CD was DATA. |

3. As noted over IM, Right clicking on Quick Access bar should not focus on Device)or at least it should be configurable), but rather just Show Context Menu.
Examples:
- Initiate RIP
- Edit Dist properties
- Copy content of Disk To HDD
4. Drag And Drop Should Be available for Quick Access bar
Example where User Would Like to D&D CD/Device to Now Playing without interfering with other work he is doing in MM
