Stephen, the log shows that MM served the files, but for some reason the LG doesn't show them? Could you please test to serve the same files by using the others servers like XBMC, tVersity, TwonkyMedia to confirm that it occurs only with MM server? |
Yes, the folders are not empty if I serve the media up with XBMC, TVersity, or Windows Media Player, and playback works with them too. I also updated the firmware to the latest version (it's model LG BD670) but there was no change. |
If I can provide anything further please let me know soon, I don't have access to it all the time. |
I am solving this with the user via the eSupport ticket/logs I haven't figured out where could be the problem. It is a painful debugging with a lack of info and responses. BTW: There was similar problem with Serviio: http://forum.serviio.org/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=2501&start=10 |
Also Serviio fixed it in a later release: http://forum.serviio.org/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=2501&start=60#p18322 but it's also notable that the forum thread refers specifically to LG smart TVs, in my case and the user in the support ticket it is a LG Blu-Ray player. So some of the UI that they mention on the TV isn't the same as on the Blu-Ray player. |
And sorry I cannot test more, but the Blu-Ray player is at my Dad's house, about 2 hours away from where I live. It will probably several weeks before I can test it again unfortunately. |
The user's player just went out yeasterday for replacement. Expect it will be a couple weeks before we get it back. He will try the DLL when it comes back, and let us know. |
Stephen, please geive a try with the DLL attached to the tickets once you have a chance. The user from the former ticket no longer has the device and the user from the later ticket hasn't replied. |
Assigning back to me, the user from the original ticket has the device back. |

Fixed in build 1480 and confirmed by two users (from tickets GLL-789839 and NAF-939660 ). |
