Summary | 0009040: DLNA/UPnP fails to show Artwork when a file with no Artwork exists in Album
Description | If one file on the Album doesn't have Artwork, MediaMonkey fails to show Artwork for other tracks on the Album (that do have Artwork embedded) to UPnP clients. Only after removing the file without Artwork and cleaning UPnP cache does Artwork show on UPnP client. This seems to indicate 2 bugs: 1) Artwork fails to show if one track on Album misses it 2) UPnP Artwork cache fails to update when changes are made in MediaMonkey

Fixed in build 1467. Re: 2) Currently the artwork cache is cleared on each MM restart, this should be improved, entered new issue for this: 0009050 |

This is still experienced on 1470. This seems to be related to 0009111, MediaMonkey always choose one Art for all files on Album regardless if files don't have same Artwork associated. So having a file with no Art on the Album can result in no Artwork shown over UPnP despite the file being played having Artwork associated with it. |

Martin, the fix in build 1467 was that MM selects a song from album that has an image assigned. i.e. if there is at least one song with an image assigned on that album then the song's image is selected as album image. So the issue explained by you should not occur unless the "no art" image is really an existing image. Are you sure that the track with no art really doesn't show any artwork in Properties->Artwork?? |

Yes, I'm sure that the files don't contain no Art image. All files on Album are available in debug log folder. However the track played does have embedded Art. MM actually created a NoImg0.jpg in the UPnP Cache folder for this Album. |
