Summary | 0009072: Autotag from web should filter some common acronyms in the title out.
Description | There is set of acronyms used in video filenames, that are not related to tags and should be removed and not used for autotag from web, they are causing 0 results in Amazon search.. E.g. file Back.to.the.future.1.1985.BRRip.720p.AC3.XviD.CZ.avi, generated title: "Back to the future.1.1985 BRRip 720p AC3 XviD CZ" but we should search "Back to the future 1" or "Back to the future" The set of acronyms should be easy expandable and should contain only acronyms, that do not seem to be part of any title. Some acronyms will be problematic (e.g. nick name of the author), but we should at least remove all well known.
Tags | No tags attached. | ||||

We could probably remove the year too, it is part of the title quite rarely. And the acronyms can have second part too, we should remove the whole word (this is the nick of author very often, e.g. "XviD-FQM", "XviD-LOL", "cz-iNG", "x264-CtrlHD" etc.) |
|
I don't think that this should be done automatically (and instead can be done with <Skip>) as there are some who may want to store some of that information in the tags. |
|
Some people want to have these acronyms in the title? If so, we should remove them at least for Amazon search, they are often causing 0 results. |

OK, I limited the issue only for autotag from web purposes. |
