Summary0009301: Newly synced tracks to iOS devices can't play in MediaMonkey until refresh
DescriptionAs described in the forum, many tracks synced via MM to an iOS5 device aren't playable from within MM.

Some simply fail to play, and some get converted to strange characters as soon as playback is initiated.

Note: on my iPod Touch all the tracks played correctly on the device, but users have indicated that this isn't the case for them.

Tested with build 1484 + iPod Touch 4G (iOS 5.0.1) or iPhone 3G (iOS 3)

I don't know if this is coincidence, but it often seems that tracks that fail to play have other tracks with the same name. e.g. if there are 4 tracks with the name _Si1.mp3 on the iPhone, usually (but not always) only 1 of them plays from within MediaMonkey (note though that sometimes tracks that don't have others with the same name don't play as well).

Something else I just noticed: when playing tracks via MM > iPod Touch > Music node, many tracks aren't playable. BUT, when playing tracks via MM > iPod Touch > Playlists > <playlist> node, the majority of tracks _are_ playable. What really interesting is that tracks that aren't playable via the iPod Touch > Music node (they get greyed out), are playable via the Playlist node (i.e. the tracks are syncing, it's just a DB issue)!

e.g.
In the iPod Touch > Music Node, 'Oh Well' by Billy Burnette is greyed out when the user attempts to play it via MM from the iOS device. But, when the exact same track is double-clicked via iPod Touch > Playlists > Testlist, it plays as expected!

Another test note:

This happens only for the new files synced to device, if you restart MM or hit F5 the tracks are playable. This issue appears in 4.0.3 and earlier 4.0 versions too.
