| Description | There are several reports of devices disappearing from the tree with recent builds (even after having installed Quicktime). I am waiting for another log, but I found something that could cause the problem although I haven't been able to replicate the issue. Fixed in 1487. |

This is still unresolved and I finally found some steps to repro and reasons for this. It is related to issue 0009322: iOS5 sync issues when iTunes Wi-Fi Sync is enabled 1. Enable [x] Sync with this iPod over Wi-Fi in device options in iTunes. 2. Make sure that the iPod is connected to a local wi-fi network 2. Connect the iPod via USB and you will see it in MM interface 3. Disable the wi-fi network in the iPod => after 30 seconds iPod disappears from MM interface |
