| Description | Depending on which category/node the user is browsing, the Properties function works differently. In some cases it opens the full properties dialog, and in others, it opens a 'Type' selector, and in other cases, it does nothing. Specifics: Subnodes of any category other than Album: Properties displays but has no effect!! Album: Type selector shows up!! Individual/Multiple Tracks: Properties dialog in most cases as expected, except for individual/Multiple Podcasts, Audiobooks, Videos: Properties context menu is missing!! | ||||

Fixed in build 29 as: - Subnodes of any category other than Album: Properties removed. - Albums: The reason it's there is to give user an easy and quick way of setting Type for several albums. It could be useful if several Audiobooks or Podcasts are incorrectly categorized. - Individual/Multiple Tracks: Fixed - added the menu item where necessary. |

I would rather give the user the ability to edit properties via a single Mass Edit dialog. At a later date we could refine the dialog so that e.g. edits by Genre would only be for the Genre field, but that may not even be required. |

Fixed in build 29. - Properties dialog now works for Artist, Albums, Genres and Composers. - Added few fixes and improvements to the dialog. - There's probably more to be added in the future... |
