| Description | The 'missing artwork' icon looks fine for individual albums, however, when an entry contains tracks from multiple Albums (e.g. a Genre or a Playlist), and some of the Albums are missing artwork, the mixture of Square artwork with Round 'missing artwork' looks bad. Simple fix would be for the Missing Artwork icon to be square. | ||||

The fix is worse than the original issue. With the fix it appears as if the background of the missing album art image is overwriting the foreground of an existing album art image (see attached). Possible fix (edited based on discussion with Marek): - _change_ the missing album art image so that the icon has no background (i.e. it must be a square image without any black background). -Always place albums with unknown artwork behind images of albums with known artwork. The point being that MM should convey information re. the number of albums by an artist in the same manner, whether or not the album art is known. |

I wonder if MMA could put Unknown Album Arts always in Background so If any album art exists it will be foreground. Here what will look OK I think for Multiple AA 2 AA -> Unknown in Back Existing Front 2 AA -> Both Unknown AA as it is currently in v33 3+ AA -> If there is two or more with AA than 2 Random (?) from Albums that have AA 3+ AA -> If 1 have AA and others don't Unknown goes to Background 3+ AA -> All Unknown AA use same as in v33 Using LOOPs: - If Multiple Albums Check if there is two Albums with AA and in case of Multiple Albums with AA show 2 Random (?) from Existing Albums and AA - If Only One AA is Available in Multi Albums than show existing AA in foreground and Unknown AA in background - In no AA are available than show two unknown AA |

In my opinion, borderlines are quite thick in all of alternatives. I didnt know how artworks will look like on small screens, now I see that it is possible to make them thinnier. If you choose final alternative, let me know and I will do it. |

How about if we use art-3-list.png for NP>list, but leave the existing NP>Art image? |

On second thought, I like the art4 included in build 46. BUT, (and I suspect that this applies to art-3-list.png as well) the icon size doesn't match the width of most album art in List views (Browser/NP List). |
