Merged into 4.0.7.1502 |
On 1502 it just stays on Reading files... without showing any in the Podcast parent node (iOS6/iPod Touch 4gen). Note it stays on Reading files... in any Podcast and Playlist node parent or child, but does show the containing files for the child nodes of Playlist and Podcast. Nodes like Music, Video and Audiobook work as expected, both showing files in parent node and not showing Reading files... once files are shown. |
I couldn't reproduce, in my case the 'Reading files...' was shown only while 'Scanning...' then it disappeared. Nevertheless I unified the code with the others Music/Video/Audiobooks nodes, i.e. the Podcasts node is no longer handled by iPhone plugin, but directly by main app same as the Music/Video/Audiobooks nodes and behaves same way as for all other types of devices now. e.g. having right podcast icon from skin etc. Fixed in 4.0.7.1504 |
You're right on 1504 the Podcasts node will show reading files as long as it is scanning the device. After scanning finishes the files will be shown. The Playlists node however remains on reading files even if scanning has finished. |
Ok, in case of playlists it is managed by the device plugin and it can show reading files... even if scanning was finished, but the "Reading files..." disappears in a while, isn't it? If not, then re-open another issue for this. The original issue here is fixed, right? |

The Podcast node issue has been resolved on 1504 (reading files disappears once scanning has completed). |
