Summary | 0009742: iOS6: Auto-Sync can duplicate Playlists in MediaMonkey
Description | 1) Select some nested Playlists for Auto-Sync (nested = child of another playlist) 2) Run Auto-Sync 3) Run Auto-Sync again During this second Auto-Sync the Playlists are duplicated into the root. So it only seems to happen on subsequent sync in same session of MediaMonkey (without changes to what is being synced in Auto-Sync List tab). This has been observed both on iOS5 and iOS6.

It seems to do this in then preparing files stage of the sync and it duplicates the Playlists that were synced last sync. So if the current sync has additional Playlists selected they aren't duplicated. |
|
It would seem the Playlists are synced from the iPod to MediaMonkey as the original Playlists are Auto-Playlists and the duplicate Playlists are regular static Playlists. |
|
If you leave the duplicated Playlists and deselect them in the Device Profile they get re-selected on the next sync. |
