Summary | 0001132: Eliminate confusion in Volume Leveling Configuration Screen
Description | As I was working on the context-sensitive help, I found I was having trouble describing the current configuration screen. This confusion is also often noted by users in the forums. I'm going to suggest an alternative and much more understandable config screen: --Target Volume Levels-------------------------------- | Target volume for playback: __ | . . [x] Level playback volume | Target volume for leveling tracks: __ | Target volume for burning Audio CDs: __ | | [ ] Clipping Prevention ----------------------------------------------- --General--------------------------------------- | [x] Only analyze Tracks with unknown volume leveling adjustment -------------------------------------------------

Note: I've made a couple of simplifications to the config screen described in this bug. |
|
Note: my current thinking is that we should defer this post 2.2--we'll see from feedback whether changes are required... |
|
I agree with deferring post 2.2, we'll see what's needed and what is required by portable devices. |
|
Note: The following extra bit of configuration, originally considered useful, is no longer suggested to be included: --General--------------------------------------- | .... | Display volume leveling adjustment in tracklist based on: | . . ( ) Deviation from target volume for playback | . . (o) Deviation from target volume for leveling tracks ------------------------------------------------- |

Assigned to Peke, please move the controls as suggested, make sure Tab order is correct and context help constants are properly used (kept as they are). |

Updated According to specs. All help context cnstants are same. Note: Due to changes in text Translation file needs to be updated accordinly. |
