| Description | Currently, the user can minimize to the Mini-monkey, however, it would be useful if it could be further minimized for users who wish to just control MM without it taking up any space on the desktop. This would ideally be implemented as a custom toolbar (like WMP) or as a tray-control. It would include the following functionality: Window functions: Maximize, Close Player-related functions: Play/Pause, Previous, Next, Mute/Volume (see foxytunes implementation) Other (optional) functions: Show info button (causes the popup described in bug 656 to appear like in foxytunes), Edit Track Properties button, Ratings button, seek bar, volume bar, time/title/album/time indicator. Context menus: Exit, Now Playing, Maximize, + previously listed commands (in case they're disabled) Suggestion: If MediaMonkey is minimized to the micro-mode, then the MediaMonkey icon should be hidden as it just takes up space unnecessarily. Note: although this could be implemented as a plugin, I think it is better to have this integrated with MM so that the user can cycle from Main --> Mini --> Micro and back. | ||||

Most of this is already implemented, we should only consider one aspect - showing MM in this mode as a TaskBar Toolbar (as e.g. WMP can be shown). I don't know what it involves in terms of Windows API usage, Petr, try to find out and let me know. |

I tested this in build 1005 and when I minimize to the tray and enable the MediaMonkey Desk Player (via Toolbars), nothing happens! |

As discussed over IM, it works now, it just needs to be enhanced so that it works in all cases (like clicking Minimize to Tray button). |

Tested the micro-player in build 1034 and I can't seem to get it to appear! note: to properly test this, completely uninstall MM, makeing certain to delete the deskplayer.dll and then re-install. |
